Two Blue Cherries is an independent theatre company dedicated to the development of Australian theatre.
The focus is the creation of new entertaining work, which is bold and theatrically innovative. We are a community of individuals who are interested in creating vibrant Australian theatre. We believe that story writing and strong text are integral to theatre practice and to understanding the world and ourselves better. Robust, directed collaboration means we can evolve a new world for Australian industry.
Although the focus is primarily text, we do not subscribe to the notion that a script needs to be spoken or linear. We are by no means bound by the text, but are freed by it. Two Blue Cherries is interested in making dynamic and engaging theatre for all Australians.
